Refrigerated Chillers and Temperature Baths
Some Cooling applications cannot be satisfied using Ambient Air, Cooling Tower Water or City Water. In these cases Refrigeration Fluids are compressed and evaporated in a Refrigeration Circuit to create Chilled Water and other Process Fluids. These cooler fluids can be used to supply cooling to processes requiring extremely low temperatures (as low as -95 degrees C) or where central utility cooling is not available.
Air-Cooled Chillers
Ambient Air is used to remove heat from these designs, much like a room air-conditioning unit operates.
Water-Cooled Chillers
Standard Utility Cooling Water (95 deg. F) is used to remove heat from these designs.
Temperature Baths
Laboratory applications are satisfied with these designs where items to be cooled are immersed in a chilled fluid bath.
